First things first, open up an internet browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox), and go to firststudent.com. Next, find ‘Utah State University’ listed in the drop-down box at the top, right-hand side of the website.

To determine if you are eligible for subsidized graduate insurance through Utah State University, please refer to the flowchart below:
Firststudent.com will ask you to choose if your are an international or subsidized graduate students. After that, you will be taken to the enrollment screen, and it will ask you to create your account, and you will be able to opt in or out from there.

If you have determined that you are eligible for insurance, then proceed to the "Navigating Through" page. If you are wanting to opt-out or waive insurance, then please watch the video directly below to opt out and then you're done!
